Katie's performance is a combination of voice and Celtic harp showcasing songs from any culture and style. Her highly acclaimed musical interpretations and compositions have culminated in her 4th CD, Hush hush…released under S.o.S. Records 2007.
Now a Princes’ Trust Ambassador, Katie has performed in Scotland at the Opening of Scottish Parliament in the presence of The Queen, at JK Rowling’s Harry Potter Launch and aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia to mention but a few. Abroad Katie’s fanbase is widespread; Europe, Canada, the USA, Hong Kong and mainland China. She has starred in the US Sound of Angels and given her own concert in Beijing’s Forbidden City Concert Hall.
Katie tours extensively with her unique instrument, the clarsach, in many countries as a well known singer/songwriter. She sings and speaks in a variety of languages, for example: Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, German, Gaelic and English. Katie entertains the audience with anecdotes and history, tailormaking each performance.
As a leading light in Scottish and International music Katie has recently played for many well known figures including Sir Sean Connery, Sir Jackie Stewart, Mr Stanley Ho, Jeb Bush, Rudolf Giuliani the former Mayor of New York, Fred Goodwin and Sir George Mathewson of The Royal Bank of Scotland and Li Lihui the President of the Bank of China.
